When we unbox, the main phone is there with Leica branding. Then a Leica lens cap of good quality. A cloth is there to keep the phone clean. Then we have a 100W charger with USB A to C cable, good quality phone case and a SIM ejector tool.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Design
This Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition smartphone is very uniquely designed in a way, except for these volume buttons. The phone has a flat screen. The side design is also very unique with a complete aluminum frame with fine patterns on both sides to get a solid in-hand grip.
On the right side the power and volume up and down buttons can be found. Almost 75% of the smartphone is covered by vegan leather, and above that, you get a complete fiberglass finish. From a design perspective, the phone feels super, super solid. The thickness of the phone is 8.29mm only which makes it the thinnest Ultra model

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition delivers strong performance as it runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The phone has 16GB of RAM. There are two options available in terms of storage i.e 512GB or 1TB.
Battery and Charger
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition 5G smartphone has a battery of 6800 mAh. It supports 90W wired hyper charging and 50W wireless charging and 90W universal PD PPS charging.. You can also use reverse wireless charging, and all that is definitely available.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Camera Features
This flagship device currently runs on Xiaomi Hyper OS 3 based Android 16. The camera set up is its main quality, especially the telephoto camera. The main camera is 50-megapixel with an F1.7 aperture and a 1-inch type sensor. Then there is another 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with autofocus.
The real magic of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra phone is its 200-megapixel telephoto camera that offers an optical zoom range between 75mm to 100mm. With the camera app, you can continuously zoom between 3.2x and 4.3x, which is really fantastic.
The 200-megapixel camera of New Xiaomi Ultra comes with an aperture of F2.4 to F3, which will vary depending on how much you’ve zoomed in. There are many customization options inside the camera settings. You can choose different modes like photo, video, portrait mode, pro mode, and fast shoot – for continuous zoom, exposure compensation, or switching between filters.
In the front a 50-megapixel selfie camera is included. Overall Xiaomi has definitely done a really, really good job in terms of the camera.
Xiaomi 17 Ultra Price and Availability
Do consider Xiaomi 17 Ultra 5G if the camera is your main priority. The collaboration with Leica is a really good overall experience with this Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The price of the phone will be around 80 or 90 thousand rupees depending on which variant you are buying.
A smartphone with advanced features is not a bad choice at this price range. As far as availability is concerned, right now this gadget is launched in China. But soon it will be launched in India.
