A Sharper, More Colorful Exterior
The 2026 Hector Exterior updates give it a fresher look. The massive grille has new honeycomb-like slats which look totally different from the previous diamond pattern. Similarly, the air dam below holds a new revised design. From the side the SUV rides on redesigned 18-inch alloy wheels. The rear bumper also looks new. The signature split headlamp setup and the connected LED tail-lamp bar remain. MG has added two new shades—Celadon Blue and Pearl White, which now offers a total of five colors including Aurora Silver, Starry Black, and Glaze Red.
Revamped Interior & Smarter Touchscreen
The cabin got new look with dual tone theme. Five seater Hector gets a contemporary Ice Grey interior, while the 6/7-seater Hector Plus is given the premium dual-tone tan upholstery. A 14 inches portrait-style touchscreen is MG’s innovative strategy. It is now equipped with iSwipe touch gesture control. A driver or a co-passenger can now easily adjust the climate control with two finger swipe, while a three-finger swipe manages the audio—minimizing distractions on the move. This is something new introduced by MG motors.
Connectivity & Feature
The infotainment system offers a smoother interface, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice commands and robust connected car tech with Over-The-Air (OTA) updates. The diesel variant is expected to retain the 2.0-litre engine (170hp/350Nm), likely offered with a manual gearbox at launch.
